BARCLAY DEBT COLLECTION SERVICE

Barclay MIS offers a debt collection services at a charge of $77.00 per annum (tax deductible).  There is no additional cost if an approved tenant fails to pay rent or invoices during their tenancy.

LOCK CHANGES

We are encouraging all of our investors to have locks changed between tenancies because tenants have keys cut after they move in and don't always return every key when they vacate. Having properties with one key to open all doors minimises the cost of changing locks between tenancies and simplifies key management for tenants, owners and tradespeople.

 

DUAL FLUSH TOILETS

From 23 March 2025, all toilets in rental properties must be dual flush with a minimum three-star rating in accordance with the Commonwealth Efficiency Labelling and Standards (WELS) scheme.  The WELS scheme uses a rating system to help consumers make informed choices about the water efficiency of products they buy.  Your Property Manager will be in touch with you in relation to this issue.

 

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

Please let us know if you would like us to organise gutter cleaning, tree trimming or any other type of preventative maintenance.

 

FEE FOR QUOTES

More of our local tradespeople have introduced a fee to quote for repairs now, as they are aware that we source multiple quotes on behalf of our investors and they may not always get the work. We will advise you in advance if the supplier will charge for a quote.
